While i absolutely love Marine Layer's clothing and easy style, this review is mainly on the FANTASTIC service i was given while shopping at this new location last month. I shopped around and was given such great info and suggestions by Morgan and Mandy, a dress, hat, sweater and tank were all about to come with me on my journey north to the Skagit valley when I realize my wallet was missing- I was freaking out- I had just come from another store a block away, who after checking didnt have my wallet. I felt so bad, not only no clothes but I just entered my worst nightmare in a city where i knew no one. Morgan and Mandy kept me calm, and while one stayed back and searched the Marine layer store, the other walked with me from business to business helping me leave my name and number and letting their neighbors know if it was found to please return it to marine layer, or call my cell number I had left. After going to every address on the block, I had no luck with my wallet. Heartbroken, I apologized for taking up so much of their time and was about to leave when those wonderful women gifted me a tank top from the store, so i could leave with something to remind me of Seattle and cheer me up. I was so touched at this gesture, they both had already gone above and beyond for me, and then a gift just to help me feel like all wasnt lost was truly remarkable. Fifteen minutes later, while crying in my car down the street, all the good karma I had earned came screaming back to me- a nice student had found my wallet on the sidewalk and turned it in at their school. After driving across Seattle to retrieve it, my first stop was back to Marine Layer to purchase the items I originally intended to. Morgan and Mandy were so happy for me, they even offered me a nice cold beer and a seat to chill my frayed nerves and get my trip back on the right course. I have a hard time with certain fabrics due to my sensory issues, but this ranks as one of the best feeling shirts I’ve worn. I keep going back. 10/10

Staff here were very nice during my visit even though I didn't buy anything. We came in window shopping, everything here is very nice and soft, but a bit above my price range.

I’m a huge fan of this brand, the quality and labor standards are high - when there is an issue the customer service resolution always meets my expectations. We are lucky to have Marine Layer in the neighborhood. Pro-tip, there’s a sale section in the back that offers some good styles at a fair price.

Fantastic shop with really quality clothing and the greatest customer service! Obviously you pay for what you get, so yes, it is a little pricier than - say - fast-fashion at Forever 21. But you will feel and notice the difference in your clothes, and they will hold up. I practically live in the t-shirts that I get from this place, because I've never felt cotton So Soft in my whole life!

The clothes are extremely soft! my gf gifted me their sweatpants for my birthday and I've been a fan since! the sale staff are amazing I didn't catch girl name but she had red hair she helped me with my online return and it was super quick you really do get the experience plus they give a neighborhood discount!!
